Description
Borrowmeadow is an earlier 18th century, two-storey, symmetrical five-bay laird's house. It features a one-bay single-storey extension to the east and a later single-storey L-plan long pantiled steading attached to the west, which ends with a probably later two-storey granary and hayloft. The exterior is finished with white painted harl and black painted margins. The first-storey windows are positioned just below the eaves band, and there is a central entrance doorway. The building has crowstepped gables and a few irregular window openings at the rear, along with three metal rooflights. Some openings were bricked up in 2004, and the house has gable stacks with a grey graded slate roof.
