Description

78 High Street in Biggar is a two-storey building with an attic, constructed in 1889. It features ashlar stonework with raised margins and quoins, topped by a slate roof. The ground floor has a large central segmental arched pend, flanked by a door and two windows on either side. The first floor contains seven windows, and there are three segmental-headed dormers in the roof. All openings are segmentally arched, and the first-floor windows have corbelled sills.
