Description
72 High Street in Biggar is a mid-19th century building that stands two storeys tall. It is constructed of ashlar stone with raised and chamfered margins. The front of the building is symmetrical with three windows and features a band course above the ground floor and an eaves course. The original glazing remains intact on the first floor. Each gable end, to the northeast and southwest, has three windows, some of which are blocked, along with one small round-headed single light above. The roof is slate, hipped at the front with straight skews on the end gables, and there are corniced stacks at each end. An additional block is located at the rear.
