Description

Ptarmigan Cottage is a single-storey, three-bay cottage built in the mid-19th century. The exterior features tooled, coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and painted cills. It has a central door and a single 8-pane sash window located in the right bay. To the left, there is a canted tripartite window set in a shallow gable that is topped with a spike finial, along with a blocked arrow-slit in the gable.
