Description

Late 18th century, probably altered earlier 19th century, with later alterations and additions. Single storey, 3-bay symmetrical L-plan house forming part of Easter Farm group. Stugged pink sandstone ashlar; squared and coursed rubble to sides; re-faced, painted re-entrant angle to rear. Base course; eaves course. Droved long and short surrounds to windows; raised cills.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: polished architraved doorway in bay to centre; replacement door. Replacement window in bays flanking.

N (SIDE) ELEVATION: irregular 4-bay. Window in bay to centre. Window, set wide, in bay to outer right. Window in bay to left. Segmental-arched replacement 2-leaf boarded garage doors in bay to outer left.

E (REAR) ELEVATION: blank gabled wall.

SE (REAR RE-ENTRANT) ELEVATION: replacement door, set close to angle to S wall. Window, set to centre, to E wall.

S (SIDE) ELEVATION: blank wall.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1997.

Modern, replacement 2-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate piended roof; replacement aluminium stack to N wallhead; cast iron rainwater goods with decorative bracket to SW (front) angle.

BOUNDARY WALLS: curved sandstone rubble walls with squared rubble cope.
