Description

11 Hope Street in Lanark is a house built around 1830. It is two stories tall and has three bays. The house features a prominent central entrance, which is framed by two widely spaced pilasters and two Roman Doric columns in antis. These support an entablature and a blocking course. The door is recessed and has pilasters, with a rectangular fan-light above it. The ground floor windows are adorned with architraves, while there are three windows on the first floor. The building has an eaves course and cornice, straight skews, and a slate roof.
