Description

Early 20th century. 3-storey, 6-bay tenement (grouped 2-2-2) forming part of terrace, with commercial ground floor premises. Polished red ashlar. Curved moulded parapet; canted oriel windows to outer bays at 1st and 2nd floors; moulded cornices; strip-moulded wallhead stacks flanking central bays.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: recessed central entrance, timber door, deeply recessed, keyblocked oval fanlight; 2 shops to right, glazed timber inner entrance doors, outer shop windows to both; off-centre entrance to shop to left, 2-leaf glazed door, oval moulding to letterbox fanlight, arcading work to flanking shop windows. Bipartite windows at 1st and 2nd floor to central bays; single windows to penultimate bays to outer left and right; canted outer bays.

Modern glazing. Roof (unseen 1998); corniced wallhead and gablehead stacks; circular cans.
