Description

The Main Drive Wall, including its piers, is a rustic stone wall built around 1809, located on the east side of the Main Drive leading to Culzean Country Park at Glenside. The wall features a hungry-jointed construction made of boulders and pebbles, topped with boulder coping. At both the northern and southern ends, there are piers with upright rubble stones that create coronet copes above a cornice of pebbles. Additionally, there are two short sections of wall without piers on each side of the drive.
