Description

The walls and piers at the entrance to and flanking the drive to Blaise Castle House were built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from rubble with copper-slag blocks, and feature piers made of Lias and Pennant ashlar. The walls are approximately 20 meters wide and flank the entrance on Henbury Road. The wall on the left extends for about 20 meters to meet the northwest corner of the stable block of Blaise Castle House, while the wall on the right continues for approximately 70 meters along the other side of the drive.
