Description
Alma Villa and Raglan Villa are a pair of attached houses built around 1880, located on Henbury Road in Bristol. They are constructed from squared coursed Lias stone with limestone dressings, featuring ashlar gable stacks and a slate roof. Designed in the Tudor Revival style, the buildings have a double-depth plan and stand three storeys tall with a four-window range. Notable architectural features include two projecting two-storey gabled wings and a central gable adorned with scalloped barge-boards. The houses have three-light mullion windows with label moulds and casements that include horizontal glazing bars; the second-floor central windows are two-light. The doorways on the side elevations are pointed arches with chamfered reveals and label moulds, and they have ridged doors. The interior has not been inspected.
