Description
13 West High Street in Lauder is a two-storey, three-bay double-fronted terraced cottage built in the earlier to mid 19th century. The west elevation features a harled finish with rendered ashlar dressings, including a base course, architraved openings, and projecting cills for the windows.
The west elevation presents a symmetrical design with a central entrance that has a two-leaf panelled timber door, flanked by windows on both floors. The north elevation is attached to No 15 West High Street, while the south elevation is adjacent to No 11 West High Street. The east elevation has not been inspected since 1998.
The cottage has 12-pane timber sash and case windows and a slate roof, with a harled ridge stack on the left and a round can. The interior has not been inspected since 1998.
