Description

Doucot Cottage, located at Dawyck Mill, is a late 18th century building that has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is a single-storey structure made of rubble, set into a hill, with a two-storey bowed end on the north side. The cottage features a projecting gabled porch on the east, which includes a simple fanlight. The windows have been altered and include brick details. The roof is a slate piended design.
