Outbuilding, Cheviot House And Eildon House, High Street, Town Yetholm

This late 19th-century outbuilding is a two-storey, five-bay structure that is part of a larger irregular terrace. It is rendered with painted stone dressings and features a base course and raised surrounds around the openings.

On the west elevation, which serves as the entrance, the first four bays are grouped together. There are doorways located in the second and fourth bays from the left, featuring modern panelled doors. The doorway to Cheviot House has a plate glass fanlight, while the doorway to Eildon House has a two-pane fanlight. Above the doorways, there are single windows, as well as additional windows in the first, third, and fifth bays from the left.

The east elevation, or rear, has windows that are irregularly arranged. There is a range of pitched-roofed and harled outbuildings of varying heights adjoining the rear of Cheviot House, with a tiled roof on the harled outbuilding at the rear of Eildon House.

The building features 12-pane lying-pane sash and case windows, a grey slate roof with brick ridge and mutual stacks, and a snowguard on the east side. The outbuilding itself is also slated.
