Description

Kirkwynd Bridge, built in 1864, features a single segmental arch that spans the Slitrig Water. The bridge has splayed wing walls on the southeast side and is flanked by boundary walls on both sides. It is constructed from squared, bull-faced yellow sandstone, with a polished ashlar band course and a chamfered cope.
