Description

Townfoot Bridge, located on Bridge Street in Jedburgh, was designed by engineers J A Leslie and Reid and built between 1926 and 1928. It features a single 68-foot span segmental arch made of concrete. The bridge has square capped piers and a balustraded parapet. The solid parapet extends beyond the piers and is terminated by secondary squat coped piers.
