Description
51 Causeyside Street is a late 19th-century tenement building that is symmetrical with four storeys and four bays, featuring a public house on the ground floor. The design incorporates Scots Renaissance details, with canted outer bays that are corbelled at the eaves and topped with crow-stepped gables. These gables are connected by a wallhead balustrade to a central bartizan. The inner bays have two-storey arched panels. The building is constructed of ashlar, has plate glass sash windows, coped end stacks, and a slate roof.
