Description
18-20 Forbes Place in Paisley is a building dating from around 1830. It is three stories tall with an attic terrace and features 15 bays, including one curved angle bay and five additional bays. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar. The building has architraved doors that are topped with consoled cornices and block pediments. The windows are also architraved, with cill brackets, and those on the first floor have cornices. Most of the 12-pane sash windows remain unaltered. The eaves cornice includes a blocking course, and there are lowered wallhead stacks. The roof is slate, with a piended design at the corner, featuring canted, piended dormers and corniced stacks.
