Description

Catochill Steading is a building dated to 1650, although it was rebuilt in the early 19th century. It is constructed of whinstone with red sandstone dressings and features an open court, a roofless horsemill, and a loft dovecot. The structure remains unaltered. In 2006, it was re-categorised from a grade B to a grade C(S) due to its group interest. The listing applies to both the interior and exterior, as is appropriate for this type of building.
