Description
2 Tay Street in Perth is a three-storey building with a basement, constructed around 1875 in a Thomsonesque Greek style. The exterior features stugged red ashlar and has a three-bay elevation, with the outer bays topped by pediments. The south bay includes tripartite windows, while the north bay has bipartite windows. The centre bay is recessed above the doorpiece and has one window on the first floor, with the second floor being blind. The south gable has two windows and a pedimented one-window wing. The roof is slated.
