Description
16 Kenmore Street in Aberfeldy is a mid-19th century pair of traditional houses, designed as flatted dwellings. The building is two stories high and features six bays. It is constructed from chlorite-slate rubble with heavy pointing, large quoins, projecting cills, and slab lintels, while the rear is finished with dry-dash.
The south elevation is symmetrical, with the left side (No 16) showcasing a part-glazed timber door at the center, flanked by windows, and regular fenestration on the first floor. The right side (No 14) mirrors this layout but has a modern door.
The east elevation is a blank gabled wall, while the west elevation features a gabled design with a window on each floor to the left. The outer left bays are not included in this listing.
On the north elevation, there is a modern door (No 12) to the outer left, along with a variety of altered openings to the right. The windows are timber sash and case, with 2-pane upper sashes over plate glass. The roof is covered with graded grey slates, and there are coped ashlar stacks with some cans. The eaves overhang with plain bargeboarding.
