Description

Notable early 19th cent. house of Cottage Ornee type,

single storey and attics. Fantastic rubble masonry with

long projections, part log-built; Five bay verandah

with 4-centred log arches, horizontal filling of

spandrils: bowed and semi-domed treatment of diagonal

diaphragm arches in verandah at angles: hip roof with

wide-eaved jerkin-head roofed dormers. One good

Georgian marble fireplace within.
