Description
The stables and coachman's cottage at Balhary are a quadrangular structure, with the front southeast range dated 1816 at the string course and 1839 at the attic light. The building is two stories high with five windows, constructed from pinned squared rubble. The central bay is advanced and features a pediment, along with a modillioned cornice and a wooden porte-cochere. The northeast range has segmental arches but is partly roofless. The southwest range houses the coachman's cottage, which is a single-storey building with a basement, made of simple rubble and slate. It includes a forestair and a door pediment inscribed with the date 1841.
