St Andrew's And West Church, High Street, Auchterarder

St Andrew's and West Church, located on High Street in Auchterarder, was designed by Cousin & Gale and dates back to 1843. This former Free Church is a plain, rubble-built, two-storey rectangular structure with five windows, along with a two-window extension. The front features an ashlar Romanesque style, highlighted by an 80-foot pinnacled tower and an open ground floor porch that was added in 1845. Inside, the church has an interesting layout with galleries supported by wooden columns and arcades at the upper level. It retains original furniture, although a later organ and font have been added; the original baptismal basin and bracket have recently been refitted.
