Description
The Church of Scotland on Oldmeldrum Road in Bucksburn, Aberdeen, was built between 1843 and 1844 as Newhills Free Church. It is a rubble-built rectangular structure with a canted gable featuring three gothic windows and a bellcote. In front of the church is a single-storey vestry with splayed angles and plain wood tracery. Inside, there is a horseshoe gallery, and the interior has been renovated. The church has an unusual plan, with the pulpit located at the gable closest to the road.
