Description
Ruthven Tower in Auchterarder was designed by William Leiper and completed in 1882. This building showcases a Franco-Scottish early Renaissance style, constructed from red snecked rubble with white sandstone dressings. It features a two-storey main block that includes a circular conical-roofed angle tower, a semi-circular bay, an oriel window, and elaborate dormer heads. The structure is adorned with a significant amount of sculpture and also includes a single-storey service wing with an attic.
