Former United Presbyterian Manse, Holm

The Former United Presbyterian Manse in Holm is a mid-19th century building that has undergone later alterations and additions. This two-storey, three-bay manse features a square plan and is symmetrical in design, with a central stack on its piended roof. It has a single-storey, pitched entrance porch at the center and two parallel pitched rectangular-plan additions at the rear, all finished in harled render.

On the southwest (principal) elevation, there is a window above the entrance porch, which has an advanced ball-finialled gable. Each bay on this elevation has a window at both the ground and first floors. The northeast (rear) elevation includes a boarded door with a letterbox fanlight and a shallow, non-aligned pediment at ground level, with a tall stair window above. There is also a boarded door offset to the right in an advanced gabled bay and a wide timber garage door in an advanced gabled bay to the left.

The southeast (side) elevation has a two-bay main block on the right with windows at each floor in each bay, while a single bay addition to the left features a small window offset to the right of center. The northwest (side) elevation shows a two-bay main block on the left with a blocked window at ground level to the left and a window at the first floor above, along with a window at each floor to the right. There is also a single bay to the right with a small window offset to the left of center.

The building predominantly features 12-pane sash and case windows, a grey slate piended roof, and purple Welsh slate on the rear additions. It has a harled multi-flue corniced central stack, cement skews on the porch gable, and cast-iron rainwater goods. The interior was not seen during the last inspection in 1997.
