Description

Single storey, 2-bay, rectangular-plan asymmetrical cottage with lean-to addition to S. Detached single storey 5-bay rectangular-plan asymmetrical byre sited to SW of cottage. Random rubble.

S (PRICIPAL) ELEVATION: window in lean-to addition to centre; window in left return; boarded door in right return. Window in bay to left.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: window in each bay of 2-bay lean-to in bay to left. Blocked door in lean-to in bay to right.

W (SIDE) ELEVIAONT: widow set to left; gablehead stack above. Door in lean-to addition to outer left.

Timber-framed windows. Traditional Orkney flagstone roof; rubble corniced gablehead stacks.

INTERIOR: box beds extant; timber chimneypiece.
