2 School Wynd, Kilbirnie

This is an earlier 19th century building of two storeys and three bays, located at 2 School Wynd, Kilbirnie. The exterior is harled with painted ashlar margins, and features a curved bay on the right-hand side. The building has a central recessed entrance with cavetto reveals, an architrave, and a cornice, with pilastered windows above. Four-pane sash windows are present throughout. An eaves course, cornice, blocking course, and a broad, central wallhead pediment with a corniced, rectangular apex stack are prominent features. The corner to the right is curved, with four-pane sash windows and a curved skew above. End stacks are also present. A rear wing extends to the north, incorporating a lower two-bay addition to the west.
