Description
This is a mid-19th century building on Bridge Street, Kilbirnie. It is two storeys and an attic, with three bays. The exterior is painted ashlar with painted margins. The central doorway is topped with a fanlight, and there is a single 12-pane sash window in the left bay. The right bay features a shop door flanked by windows. Pilasters are situated at the doors and at the corners, supporting the frieze and cornice above the ground floor. The first floor has three windows with original 12-pane glazing. An eaves course, cornice, and central wall-head pediment containing a tall, slender stack are present. Two piended canted dormers project from the roof, along with end stacks, all under a slate roof.
