Description
18 Burns Street in Irvine is an early 19th-century, two-storey terraced pair of two-bay houses. The buildings are constructed of rubble, with Nos 20 and 22 being rendered and featuring painted margins and a base course.
Each house has a central door, with windows on either side that are now used as shops. The first floor displays regular fenestration. Each bay is topped with canted box dormers that are slate-hung.
The windows are timber sash and case with plate glass glazing. The roofs are covered with grey slates, and there is a brick mutual stack at the center, with stone stacks at the outer mutual gables.
