Description

23 Manse Street in Saltcoats is likely a mid 19th century single-storey cottage with an attic. It features a pair of unusual early dormers and slate-hung panels on either side of the windows, which are the original small-paned sashes. The cottage has four bays and is constructed of painted rubble with contrasting ashlar margins, an eaves and lintel band, a cornice, and a blocking course. The roof is slate.
