Description

The Congregational Church on Hamilton Street in Saltcoats, designed by architect Lewis Fullarton in 1863, is a Gothic-style building with a rectangular plan constructed of snecked rubble. The central door is set beneath a pointed arch with moulded reveals in the gable end. Above the door, there is one lancet window, with two additional lancets flanking it. The gable features urn finials, and the body of the church has four lancet windows, all of which have glazed margins.
