Description
38 High Street in Portknockie is a pair of single-storey and attic houses built in the late 19th century. They feature three bays and are constructed from dry dashed rubble with contrasting painted concrete dressings. Each house has a central entrance and two gabled dormers that break the wallhead. The design includes coped end and ridge stacks, topped with a slate roof.
House number 38 has modern glazing, while house number 40 has 8-pane sash windows on the ground floor and 4-pane sash windows in the dormers.
