Description
Circa 1800 with later additions and alterations. S facing
farmhouse with steading range extending rear, roughly square
on plan, the gable ends of which flank S front of dwelling,
forming regular frontage. Harl pointed rubble, tooled ashlar
dressings.
FARMHOUSE: single storey and attic, 3-bay with single storey,
single bay flanking wings slightly set back with piended
roofs. Centre door; 3 later piended dormers break wallhead;
12-pane glazing; end stacks; slate roof.
STEADING: hollow square range extends to rear, part of circa
1800 build with chamfered margins to openings and local stone
slate roof.
Further earlier 19th century L-plan single storey and loft
range flanks rear with 4 segmental heading cart bays and
forestair. Slate roofs.
3 blocked cart bays in E elevation, one glazed as window
lighting converted office accommodation.
