Description

13 East Street in Fochabers is a pair of single-storey and attic cottages built between 1870 and 1880. They face south towards Westmorland Street and feature a two-bay design. The cottages are constructed from mixed rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. The entrances are located at the rear, with access for No 15 via Westmorland Street.

On the west elevation, each house has two bracketed corniced windows, along with similar blind and single windows in each return gable. There are two dormer windows that break the wallhead, and each house has a single gable window on the first floor above a continuous cill-eaves band. The windows are fitted with lying pane glazing. The cottages have a coped centre ridge stack and a slate roof.
