Description

108-112 High Street in Forres is a building constructed between 1830 and 1840. It has three storeys and three bays, built from coursed rubble. The ground floor features unified shopfronts from around 1930 that display Art Deco influence. Above, there are tripartite windows on the first floor and moulded architraves at the upper floor windows. The building also has an eaves band and a moulded cornice. The upper floors are adorned with 12-pane glazing, and there is a three-bay wing extending to Cumming Street. The roof is covered with slate.
