Description
Hardhaugh is a house located in Kirktown of Mortlach, dated 1808. It is a symmetrical, west-facing, two-storey building with three bays. The front is made of pinned mixed granite, while the flanks and rear are harled, featuring tooled granite margins. The central door is set beneath an inscribed lintel, with relieving arches above the door and the flanking windows. The house has boulder footings, cavetto skewputts, and flat slate skews, along with renewed coped end stacks and a graded local slate roof. At the rear, there is a modern sunporch and a single enlarged window on the ground floor.
