Description

New Mill in Elgin is a mid 19th century textile building that stands two storeys high with an attic and features nine bays. It has a prominent wide gabled bay that projects from both the front and rear elevations, topped with a birdcage bellcote on the front gable. The south gable includes a quatrefoil vent, while the west gable displays two Gothic arched doors and windows. The building has later additions of skews and skewputts, multi-pane glazing, end stacks, and a slate roof.
