Description
This is an early 19th century terrace of three houses, numbers 19 and 20 Findhorn, originally designed as six dwellings. The houses face south and each has three bays. They are built of roughly laid stone with neatly finished ashlar dressings and margins around the windows and doors. Number 18 has a raised basement due to the sloping ground, and formerly had an overhanging entrance which has now been converted into a window. A later gabled porch fronts number 21. Each house has a central front door. The windows have four panes of glass. The roof is slate, with chimney stacks at the ends and ridge of the terrace. Cast-iron railings with spearheads enclose the basement area and steps at number 18.
