Description

10 King Street in Elgin is a house built around 1835, possibly by William Robertson. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure featuring a central doorpiece that is fluted and pilastered. The house is constructed from finely dressed coursed rubble with raised tooled margins, while the flanks are made of rubble. There is a single bay extension to the north gable added in 1914. The house has panelled and corniced end stacks and a slate roof. The garden front (east side) has long windows on the ground floor with lying pane glazing, while the street frontage features 4-pane glazing. The property is enclosed by high rubble garden walls.
