Burdshaugh, The Cottage is a single-storey cottage built in the early to mid-19th century. It has three bays and features a central door with a timber porch. The exterior is harled, likely over clay and boulder. There is an extension on the south gable, and the cottage has end stacks with a corrugated iron roof.
