Description
This is a late 18th century gateway, forming part of the Bush Estate. It consists of two rusticated square gatepiers, each topped with a stone ball finial set on a stepped plinth. Sloping screen walls flank the gatepiers, leading to squat square end-piers. Originally featuring iron gates, these have now been removed. The gateway forms a group with the Bush House and Gardener’s Cottage, recognised for their collective architectural and historic significance.
