Description

18th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay terraced house, with 2-bay 19th century shop, on gently falling ground. Tooled ashlar sandstone. Base course; eaves course.

W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: modern timber door with rectilinear-pattern rectangular fanlight, centred at ground; 2-bay timber shop front to left, with pilasters flanking bays, surmounted by corniced lintel, comprising 2-leaf, 4-panel timber door with plate glass letterbox fanlight to left, 2-pane plate glass shop window to right; window in bay to right at ground; regular fenestration at 1st floor.

S ELEVATION: blank rendered gable.

E (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen, 1999.

N ELEVATION: adjoining terrace.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1999

Predominantly 12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof, with lead ridge. Pair of regularly spaced slate-hung rectangular piend-roof dormers. Cast-iron rainwater goods. Gablehead stack; corniced, with circular cans. Coped skews.
