Description
The structure consists of three sets of gatepiers dating from the 17th or 18th century, with one located at the steps to Terrace Road at the foot of Lynedoch Street. These gatepiers are remnants of the Greenock Mansion House and are accompanied by modern gatepiers of a similar design that enclose Well Park.
