Description
The Town Buildings on Fore Street in Port Glasgow is a two-storey structure made of ashlar stone, designed in a classical style. It features a tetrastyle portico with Doric columns and is topped by a 150-foot spire. The building was designed by architect David Hamilton and completed in 1815.
