Description

Dhal Mahr is a mid-19th century single-storey and attic cottage situated on the south side of the Allt Duirinish stream. The original building is three bays wide, with a central door and a gabled, modern porch projecting forward. The walls are harled rubble. Two gabled dormers break through the eaves, and there are end chimneys. The roof is slated, with a corrugated iron single-storey extension to the east gable. Flanking the cottage are two rubble byre/barns, also gabled and with corrugated iron roofs, each featuring louvred openings. The statutory address is Duirinish Mr D MacLennan.
