Description
This is a mid-19th century cottage, originally a single storey with an attic and three bays, with a central door. The cottage is constructed of rubble with contrasting painted courses, with the side and rear walls harled. Two dormers with gablets rise from the roof. The windows have 12 panes of glass each, and there are chimney stacks at each end. The roof is slate covered. A single-storey and attic, two-bay wing extends to the rear. The cottage sits on the south side of the stream, Allt Duirinish. The statutory address is Duirinish No. 287.
