Description
This is a mid-19th century house of single storey and attic height, originally with three bays. The central bay features a modern projecting gabled porch with glazing. The walls are constructed of rubble with painted pointing at the joints, while the side walls are harled. Three dormers, each with a gablet, rise from the roofline. The windows are fitted with 4-pane glazing, and there are chimney stacks at the ends of the building. The roof is covered in slate. A single-storey lean-to extension, also of rubble construction, is attached to the west gable. To the east gable is a single-storey byre (outbuilding) with a corrugated iron roof. The building is known locally as Mrs Gunn’s House.
