Description

Ardross is a mid-19th century cottage, originally three bays wide with a central door. The walls are built of harled rubble. The cottage has a single storey and an attic, which is lit by two gabled dormers. The windows have four panes of glazing. There are end chimneys and a slate roof. A small lean-to addition, with a corrugated iron roof, projects from the east gable. The building sits on the south side of the stream, Allt Duirinish. The statutory address is Duirinish, Ardross.
