Description

The bridge, dating from 1826, is a tall, single-arch structure built of rubble with roughly dressed rubble facings. It features a single stilted arch ring and shallow flanking buttresses. The bridge is topped with a rubble cope, and the approach abutments have turf copes. Advertisements for tenders regarding the Balmacara-Plockton Road, including the bridge, appeared in the Inverness Journal on 17 March and 21 April 1826.
